Yes! CheckPrintPro prints checks with all required elements including MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) encoding, which banks use to process checks. As long as you use proper check paper and include all required information (routing number, account number, signature), your checks will be accepted by banks.

For the Hosted subscription plan, you can cancel at any time. For downloadable versions (Beginner, Pro, Business), these are one-time purchases. If you need more features, you can purchase an upgrade at any time, and we'll credit your previous purchase toward the new license.

Yes! You can upload a digital signature (PNG or JPG format) to your bank profile, and it will automatically appear on all checks you print. Alternatively, you can print checks without a signature and sign them manually.

Yes! CheckPrintPro maintains a check history:

• Hosted & Beginner: 30 days of history
• Pro & Business: Full check history (unlimited)

You can search, filter, and export your check history to CSV for use with accounting software.

This depends on your plan:

• Hosted: Access from any device with cloud sync
• Beginner, Pro, Business: Desktop software with local storage (no cloud sync)

Check alignment issues are usually easy to fix:

1. Verify your check paper is loaded correctly (check portion facing up)
2. Ensure paper guides in your printer tray are snug against the paper
3. Use the alignment tool in Settings > Printer Settings
4. Always do a test print on regular paper first

Check paper typically costs between $15-$30 for a pack of 250-500 sheets, depending on the quality and security features. This is significantly cheaper than ordering pre-printed checks from your bank.

While you can technically print on blank paper for testing purposes, we strongly recommend using proper check paper for actual checks. Check paper includes security features like watermarks, security backgrounds, and proper MICR line positioning that help prevent fraud and ensure bank acceptance.

MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) is the special encoding at the bottom of checks that includes your routing number, account number, and check number. Banks use MICR readers to process checks automatically. CheckPrintPro prints MICR-compatible characters that banks can read and process.
